What inspired you to start teaching?
I was inspired to begin teaching aerial yoga because I loved doing it and wanted to share that joy with others. There are so many benefits in this practice. It lengthens the spine; increases balance and stability; increases core strength; decompresses the joints and improves mental health.
Which styles of classes do you specialize in teaching?
Aerial yoga
What do you enjoy most about teaching?
Aerial yoga is such a complete body workout with so many positive benefits to the mind and body. I love being able to contribute to those aspects for my students.
What can students expect from your classes?
I bring an enthusiastic and a fun-loving attitude to every class. I also believe in a good strong work out with plenty of stretching, strength work and breath. Plus it is so FUN!
Do you have any personal hobbies or interests outside of teaching?
Oh yes, many. I have been in Accapella singing groups for many, many years. I completed my CPT (Certified Personal Training) certificate last year. I have had a personal trainer for over 25 years. I paddleboard frequently; I downhill ski; I am a birder of sorts. I have baked my own bread for 45 years; I grow my own sprouts (alfalfa; clover, mung etc.) I am currently completing my Yoga Certification for regular Vinyasa and Power Yoga classes.
