Movement, mindfulness, and community for homeschool families
Westpark Yoga & Movement offers a welcoming movement program for homeschool students, co-ops, charter groups, and families looking for a meaningful PE-style enrichment experience.
A movement-based enrichment option for homeschool students
Homeschooling gives families flexibility, but it can sometimes be hard to find structured movement, social time, and physical education opportunities outside the home. Our program gives students a safe, encouraging space to move their bodies, build confidence, learn healthy habits, and connect with other kids.
Depending on the needs of your family, co-op, or charter group, this can function as a PE-style activity, a wellness enrichment class, a movement elective, or a private group experience.
More than just exercise
Our classes help students build strength, coordination, flexibility, focus, and confidence in a supportive studio environment.
Physical Fitness
Students practice strength, balance, flexibility, coordination, body awareness, and functional movement in an age-appropriate way.
Mindfulness & Focus
Breathing, relaxation, and mindful movement help students learn tools for calm, focus, self-regulation, and stress relief.
Social Connection
Group classes give homeschool students a chance to connect, cooperate, and build confidence in a welcoming community setting.

Movement options can include
Each session can be customized based on age, group size, experience level, and the goals of the family or organization.
What a session might look like
Every group is different, but here is an example of how a 45–60 minute homeschool movement class could flow.
Gentle movement, breathing, and body awareness to help students arrive and get settled.
Balance, strength, coordination, stretching, or foundational yoga movement.
A fun, structured movement sequence or activity that keeps students engaged.
Stretching, relaxation, breathing, or a short reflection to close the class.

This program can be adapted for a variety of ages, group sizes, and homeschool structures.

Homeschool Program FAQ
Is this considered PE?
Many families use movement, yoga, fitness, and wellness classes as part of their homeschool physical education or enrichment plan. Requirements vary by family, charter, or homeschool structure, so we recommend confirming what documentation you need.
Can a homeschool group book a private class?
Yes. Homeschool co-ops, pods, and small groups can inquire about private or semi-private classes based on schedule availability, group size, and student ages.
What ages is this for?
We can discuss options based on your group. Some classes may be better for younger students, while others may be better for teens. The best fit depends on the number of students, their ages, and the type of class requested.
Do students need experience?
No experience is needed. Our classes are beginner-friendly and can be modified to support different comfort levels and abilities.
Can Westpark partner with homeschool charters or vendors?
We are open to exploring partnerships with homeschool programs, charter families, and enrichment vendors. Please contact us with the details of your program and what is required.
